Black Wildebeest Trail
This is a two day backpack trail situated at the bottom of the Van Reenan Pass. It is moderate in difficulty and therefore suitable for people who are looking for a more leisurely trail.
The trail is on a game farm and the viewing of animals along the trail adds to the experience. The trail traverses prime Natal Acacia veld and there are several streams that cross the land which are ideal for cooling off in. (More…)
Eikenhof Trail
Situated in the Muller’s Pass area close to the town of Newcastle, This is a two day backpack trail (11Km the first day and 9Km the second day.
In spring the hillsides of the area are a mass of different colours. This however, is not the only reason for doing this trail as it has such a variety of landscapes and flora that at any time of the year it is well worth doing. (More…)
Emoyeni Trail
This is a five day, four night backpack trail accompanied by an armed ranger. The trail is approximately 52km long and is situated in the Mfabeni section of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park. The hiker has to carry all his own equipment including a tent.
The heat and humidity of the area can make the trail quite strenuous and therefore a certain degree of fitness is required. (More…)

Kosi Bay Trail
This is a 4-day trail in Maputaland. This coastal area is a marine reserve well known as a place where giant turtles lay their eggs.
