How far is Africa from Tenerife by plane?

Africa is a vast continent with many different countries and Tenerife is just one of the many islands that make up the Canary Islands. The Canary Islands are located off the northwest coast of Africa and are actually closer to Europe than they are to Africa. Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and is also the most popular tourist destination.

Africa is around 3,500 miles from Tenerife and the flight time is around 6 hours. The flight time will depend on which airport you fly from in the UK as well as which airport you fly into on Tenerife. There are direct flights available from most major UK airports.

If you are looking for a sun-soaked holiday then Tenerife is the perfect destination. The island has something for everyone, whether you want to relax on the beach, explore the local culture or take part in some of the many activities on offer. Tenerife is a great place to visit all year round, with average temperatures of 24 degrees.

Africa is a massive continent and Tenerife is one of its islands. The two are separated by a large expanse of water. The distance between them is approximately 8,000 kilometers. This means that it would take a plane about 9 hours to fly from Tenerife to Africa.
